Primary Landing Pages are homepages. They are used to present the main idea and channels for your site. You don't typically run paragraphs of text on a Primary Landing page but rather surface the most important content in visually appealing ways.
Secondary Landing Pages can act as homepages, but that is not all they are used for. They can also be used as standalone landing pages deeper in a site as needed.
Interior Pages are the bricks and mortar of any Web site. They are the content pages containing the most detailed information. There are a variety of different Interior Pages available.
A news sites is a specific type of site that present news stories, events calendars, and publications. News sites come with a number of unique page types.
