Interior Page Standard with Related Content

Site Managers have access to the Related Content Tag Library at my.web.miami.edu. This is a great way to create tags that can be referenced on specific pages dynamically. This should NOT be confused with the "Related Links" block available below the navigation area on a page that is controlled on each page.

The Related Content Region can be displayed under the page content region on a page and will display a list of pages (and lead-ins if desired) that match a specific tag defined at my.web.miami.edu.

Here is how it works:

  1. The Site Manager creates a tag at the MyWeb Web site and defines the sites that should be included.
  2. The MyWeb site then indexes those sites and looks for any pages containing the tag.
  3. The Site Manager can then go to any page on any managed site and can activate the Related Content region and define the parameters for what should be displayed.
  4. The page will automatically display the results for any matching content, so as new pages are published with the tag the pages setup to display the matching results will automatically be updated.
